   I bought this winder with a timer for a baume mercie watch. It is a significantly large watch and this winder holds and winds it pretty well. I say pretty well because the cushion that holds the watch in place is a tad too small for my watch. However, I am a big fellow and my wrist is an eight inch wrist so this concern might only be for large wrist watches. anyhoo, I give this product five stars hands down.    The winder is a beautiful example of craftmanship. The bad news is that it developed a problem after just 3 days of use. The GOOD NEWS is that the customer service I received was excellent.
   
   The original winder was on back order and unavailable. However, working with the Customer Service Department we selected a different winder and the exchange was effortless. Steinhauser even paid shipping on the replacement and the return of the original winder. I can't say enough good things about the service after the sale. (Posted on 2/23/10)
