Questions on Desktop Watch Winder
- From Brian at 3/5/10 8:58 AM
- Which mode do you recommend for a Rolex watch? I initially want to say mode 3 (bi-directional), but would like your opinion.
- Settings for a Rolex depend on the movement. Some movements will wind only in one direction. It would be best to check the instructions that came with the Rolex just to be on the safe side. Mode 3 (bi-directional) is usually a good setting for most watches.

- I am considering purchasing the TM588. The winder I purchase must be both QUIET operation and dependably work well. Does this model have both qualities? Or is there a better single or dual model you sell with these qualities?
Thank you
- This winder is both quiet and dependable. The TM515A, TM515DE, TM378 Series, TM384 Series, and TM513 Series are all excellent single and dual alternatives that we sell.

- Is this a battery operated unit or does it plug in to an electrical plug. If electrical then what is the current? (110 or 220 current). Thank you in advance. What country is this from?
- The Desktop Watch Winder requires an electrical plug: 120VAC.

- What is the "life" of a watch winder?
- Like all mechanical devices, the life of a watch winder is limited. Some of our first watch winders from 2000 are still working today in September of 2009.
